Decent location to Bari Vecxhia

Strong sewer smell in the apartment. Very unpleasant.

It is close to Bari central with a bus ride or 25 minutes walk. I didn't like the neighborhood, a condominium area but it was safe. And considering the amount we paid it was reasonable. There is a TV, mini fridge, coffee machine and exactly 2 capsules for 1 night stay. There is a spare bed which we didn't need of course but could be handy for families. There is also free parking in the street which was a bonus point.

The owner. They wanted us to check-in at 5 pm and check-out at 8am in the morning from the first message he sent us. When I objected to the check-out time which is crazy early in the morning (!) (we were with car and could show some flexibility about check-in) he arguably defensed himself that they didn't expect this reservation that day and there will be a family with disabilities who will stay the day after and they arranged an early check-in to 9 am in the morning. But this is not acceptable and very stressful to discuss at a vacation. When I said that they shouldn't have confirmed our request in the first place and asked them to cancel confirmation, that I will report this to booking.com and asked for a full refund, the narration changed immediately and the check-out time was back to normal. They are not professionals but should be at least reasonable and honest. The flush in the bathroom... You need to wait for it to refill for a good 5 minutes. This stay wouldn't be my first choice, if necessarily strict with budget or last minute arrangements.

It was very clean and the owner was happy to help. We got towels and a set of free cosmetics.

It was located far from the center of Bari and during night there was a lot of noise from neighboring apartments.

Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. Good tv. Good contact with the landlord.

Stench from the sewage. 20 min walk to the old town. The area is a bit dirty.

Impeccably neat and comfortable.

A little difficult to find.
