Formosa Inn

What was unique was the lack of WiFi. The modem was not available for my room. The room was as clean and walkable to the Famous Underground Gardens

Convenient location

Formosa Inn is connected to a newer property with Formosa being the more economical. I was impressed by the pool area and the landscaping. It was a very peaceful and pleasant experience staying there.

It was good. I just needed a quick place to stay, and they were pretty convenient

Stayed here many times before. Hotel services has gone downhill since change of management staff. They have a new cleaning crew name Isabel she would constantly come to room complaining about her salary there and kept asking for tip, making stay very unpleasant. Daily pressure of her discussions about salary & talking bad about the hotel made it extremely uncomfortable for me to continue staying there any longer. Other guests shared the same & so I shared it with the manager Henry on day of check out.

This was a place I used to like to stay even if the rooms were super old and outdated. Management staff has change, Jackson is no longer there but the front desk service is still polite & friendly Breakfast has gone downhill, frozen boiled eggs everyday. REASON why I would never come back to this hotel is the worker ISABEL(cleaner), daily negative talk abt her salary & her workers & how much she hates working there. Also she constantly ask for a tip & provide us with envelope when she doesn’t even clean our rooms. I shared with manager that the stay was making me very uncomfortable because of Isabel constant pressure & negative feed about Formosa Inn. He also received feedback from others that same week & advised us he was aware of it, that she’s new, a family of the other cleaner, & would address it. For a small hotel that had wonderful front office service, 1 employee changed all the ambiance & made the stay super stressful. So unfortunate.!

Not an A or A+ property, more of a B or C quality level clean and comfortable but aged. And outside courtyard was not appealing.
