Iniziamo dicendo che siamo stati accolti in maniera eccellente, acqua in frigo, cialde del caffè pronte all'uso e pulizia e ordine impeccabile. Molto gentile il proprietario. Consigliato.

La casa molto curata, pulita e spaziosa con due bagni e climatizzatori in tutte le stanze. Wi-fi ok Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo macchina caffé Nespresso con capsule e Netflix. Spazio esterno riservato. Zona molto tranquilla.

The location is good very practical: there are nice beaches nearby (even though you can't really walk to a beach), and we used the train to go Palermo (which departs from S Flavia train station, a couple of minutes from the house by car). The house was essentially clean, very spacious, and except for one or two things that the owner brought us the day we arrived, well equipped. The street is a very quiet cul-de-sac (though there are some dogs that occasionally bark - not a bit deal). The friendly owner lives nearby and responded quickly when necessary. The beds are comfortable.

Although the house was essentially clean, the cleaning had probably been done a few days before we arrived - there were some spiders and cobwebs here and there, and a sweeper or vacuum cleaner would have been nice to have to get rid of those. There wasn't a sharp knife or cutting board when we arrived, but the owner promptly brought us these items when we asked for it.

Mauricio is a great, supportive and warm-hearted host! He accompanied our stay days before we arrived via Whatsapp. Communication was on point despite the language barrier and Mauricio never hesitated to help with tips, reservation or anything needed during our stay. The apartment really exceeded our expectations! It's a brand new, super clean, air-conditioned three bedroom, two bathrooms (shower and tub) apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the toiletries worked great. The kitchen and living room are spacious and equipped with really anything you would have in your own house as well (dishwasher included). The TV even comes with Netflix and YouTube (which the kids were very happy about). The veranda has two sitting areas and it's great to enjoy a drink in the evening or the morning coffee while overlooking the olive groves. Mauricio provided water, coffee, wine and local sweets as a welcome gift. The location is quiet and away from any city noise. A supermarket is only a 15 min drive away. Even closer there are opportunities to get breakfast or lunch or restaurants. A small, pebbles beach is only 10 min by foot. Beautiful Palermo is about 40 min drive and the airport is just a few minutes further away. The beautiful city of Cefalu is about 50 min drive away. The car can be parked right in front of the house. We had an SUV as it was five of us and it worked out fine despite the busy August traffic. If you are looking for a feel at home stay, Donna Mimma is definitely the place to be. The pictures displayed provide a very accurate display of the apartment. The money value is superb!We are very happy to have made this choice and totally recommend it as well as look forward to returning! Gracie mille, Mauricio e arrivederci!
