Great location that's walking distance from the centre, clean place, easy check-in (we arrived super late at 9pm and easily got the key from the keylock), large balcony, good sized bathroom and amenities, excellent indoor heating, one of the cheapest stays we could find in Inverness during summer peak season relative to the amenities you get.

It's very small and cramped - there was barely any room to place and open luggage and since we were 2 people - we found maneovering difficult at times. Indoors and outdoor balcony area can smell of pipes/drainage at times. We did turn down the air fresheners that came with the place because the perfume was too strong for us, though, so if you don't mind that it's not too bad. It was unusually hot during our second night and it got very hot and stuffy to the point where we struggled to sleep - there's no window you can open and no light sheets available. The place is roofed with what seems like sheet metal and there was quite a lot of noise too - like constant pacing. We've let the host know of these so it can hopefully be improved. There's no sound insulation as the place has thin walls so I wouldn't recommend it if you want to relax and lounge indoors or if you're a light sleeper. Also - the castle is currently under renovation, and there's construction work and noise from around 7-8am. The attached picture is what the view from the balcony looks like currently.

Great location. The owner Willie was super helpful. The little balcony was amazing. Liked to sit out there in the evening. Very pretty view.

I loved how close it was from the city centre. I also loved the design of the place, the bed and the view

It has a funny smell. Might be the pipes or something. I tried to remove it, but it didn't go away. There was a problem with the shower tray as the water in it didn't go away properly

The flat is fully furnished and had a balcony with a nice (though not spectacular) view of Inverness. It is quite close to the city center and the River Ness.

Location and view were amazing, adorable little place.

Slight smell on entry, easy to cover up with provided room freshener.
