NZAugusta Hut is a beautiful, serene, and peaceful place in a lovely, safe neighborhood. It is very well equipped with everything you need and is beautifully and tastefully decorated. It is set in a lovely garden with private outdoor seating, a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, or to wind down at the end of the day. Highly recommend.

The bedroom was a bit bright first thing in the morning. I would recommend a shutter over the small window in the bedroom and a curtain or internal roller door for the master bedroom.

NZWow! Augusta Hut is absolutely stunning, we came to Auckland for the marathon and wanted a nice quiet place to relax and unwind before and after the event. Access was simple and once inside the hut, it was truly amazing. Luxurious and decorated beautifully, private and quiet, this place was absolutely perfect. The chocolate bars, small bottle of milk and the whiskey were nice touches too.

MYNZThis place was 11/10. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary and the rustic feel of the place and privacy made for the perfect romantic experience. The hosts really went above and beyond, from little touches such as Whittakers bars waiting for us in the fridge, and some whiskey (I think it was) to help ourselves to, to expensive hair products and gorgeous antique furniture pieces to bring a luxurious yet cosy feel to the weekend. The heated floors and high-quality bedding made for a supremely comfortable experience too. It exceeded our expectations and we both were thoroughly pleased with what we got, especially for the price. :) I highly recommend this gorgeous place for anybody looking for a peaceful break from busy Auckland or a place to take their person.

very minor issues mat at front door positioned so that we tripped over it going to the bathroom at night. everything stored in the cupboard above the cook top was out of reach to my wife.
NZWe contacted the hosts and explained our itinerary as we were not familiar with the public transport arrangements in that area and we were given absolutely superb advice and assistance to get to and from our desired destination of Eden Park for the Super Rugby Final. Although you are in a busy part of Auckland the cul-de-sac position of Augusta led to an extremely quiet time spent there, 'you could cut the silence with a knife' springs to mind, much better than a hotel room for our particular requirement and we would stay there again.
It is difficult to find any fault with Augusta Hut.
