Villa delle Meraviglie

Le lieu , le calme, très belle maison avec du goût et bien pensé. Piscine un peu fraîche en septembre.

Our three-week stay at Villa delle Meraviglie has been amazing. The house is recently built and looks excellent. It has all the modern appliances we needed, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The owner lists the house as suitable for seven people. We were only two, so we did not get to see all the rooms, which made sense. We stayed in the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom that included a shower, bidet, and toilet. There is also a secondary bathroom, which houses the washing machine and another toilet. There's a large kitchen with a table for six and a connected sitting room with a two seater pull out sofa and a TV. The house is spacious and modern, with a large balcony overlooking the valley below and the generous pool. The saltwater pool is complemented by an outdoor shower with hot water. In summer, the pool receives sunlight until at least six or six-thirty in the evening, which means taking a dip after a long day of sightseeing is always possible. The house is located on a small road within the town. It feels very private thanks to its thoughtful placement. There is plenty of parking space on the fully enclosed property, which is surrounded by a wall and secured by an automatic gate. The host, Lorenzo, is wonderful. If there is anything you need, he's there for you. We had only one issue during our stay: at one point, no water came out of the faucets. We texted Lorenzo, and he arrived within a couple of minutes. The issue (a hose had come loose from a pump) was resolved within another five. Truly impressive. In over a decade of holidays in Italy, we have never experienced such a level of service! We (shamefully) do not yet speak Italian, but communication with Lorenzo was no problem at all. Although he does not speak English, he used his phone to translate Italian into Dutch for us, and we countered with our modest Italian. Lorenzo is very friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Piscine Calme

Very nice house/apartment and the view is marvelous. The bed was very comfy. The shower offers lots of space and the kitchen has everything you need. The swimming pool is nice, but already a little bit too cold for me (September 2024). The host is extremely friendly and helps instantly and at any time. They even took care of my clothes that required washing, because the washing machine was not installed yet (very new place). Just awesome! Thanks so much Lorenzo & family! I'd love to stay again!

The only thing that may require improvement is the WiFi and it is a bit unstable since it's realized using LTE. I provided Lorenzo all technical details and I am sure he takes care of it to improve it for future guests.
