The Granary

The location was rural and quiet, we felt quite at home and it was great to walk down the lanes to watch the Geese that were flying around and going into the fields. There was a great games room which would keep families occupied if the weather was inclement.

For people who Like to cook it was very basic and a lot of the utensils were tired and the knives blunt. This did not stop us for enjoying our stay at the Granary.

Friendly and available host. Clean, well appointed and cosy!

The Granary Cottage was very comfortable, great beds and well equipped. There was a private pool that we were able to book and we went swimming every morning, I didn’t know about it when I booked so it was a lovely surprise. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The cold tap in the bathroom turns the opposite way to normal, which caught a few of our party out and they got splashed. The cottage was lovely and peaceful and very rural, which means it is accessed by single track lanes, it didn’t stop us from getting out and about, but it may be an issue for some people.

Safe environment for the kids , the games room and pool were a hit with the family. Owner was friendly. Accommodation was well equipped and spacious, lovely location.

Nothing to dislike. Everything for a family was provided. In particular, we had a lot of privacy.
