Etno Dušnik

We stayed at this guesthouse specifically to hike Mount Trem. The trail starts right at the house, which is incredibly convenient. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and the homemade food is absolutely outstanding — you definitely won’t go hungry! The fresh mountain air, the morning crowing of roosters, and the stunning views all around are exactly what we came for. A special shoutout to the affectionate and friendly cat who truly stole our hearts ☺️

My review is long overdue and I hope the hosts will accept my sincere apologies for that. Sneza and Bata are amazing hosts, they are a sample of extraordinary Balkan hospitality that is so rare nowadays. We decided to escape to Gornji Dusnik for the New Year after a hospital treatment and were most pleasantly surprised. The room was very comfy, clean and offering all you could possibly need. Sneza is an amazing chef, mastering all local specialities, and Bata is a true recognized barbecue master (and we are talking about Serbia, where barbecue is national religion). We had two small dogs with us, they felt home enjoying the nature. On the New Year eve the hosts even invited us to celebrate with them the forthcoming 2025, it was very kind of them and so fun. We are definitely coming back!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful and hostile.The room was quite comfortable,very clean and with an perfectly equipped bathroom.An terrace with an fantastic view is also available.So is the garden lodge

The location is a little far from the center of the village.On Sundays magazines and stores don't work

The hosts were very nice and pleasent and they prepare excellent local food. They also shared interesting points what to see in the neighbourhood, such as restaurants, hiking spots and a swimming pool (situated just a couple of kilometers from the house).

Experience was totally unexpected and great! We were hosted with greatest old-school Serbian hospitality by the hosts, kind and warm people ready to welcome you and enhance your stay to the best of their knowledge, not hesitant to help you regarding anything. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Location is wonderful, house is situated in the heart of beautiful village, in the base of the Suva planina. Hiking to the top is recommended, views are amazing and so is the nature. Greatest value for money we experienced!

This etno house is located in beautiful village Gornji Dušnik. Property is in really peaceful area of Suva planina mountain and vrelo. In the morning you will hear birds singing and if you walk arround you will just hear sounds of river and leaves on the trees. Dušnik also has small church, fish farm (with pastrmka) and old Serbian houses with nice gardens. We also loved hosts Snežana and her husband which were really warm and nice. They are friendly, talkative and generous. Besides that, their domestic food is delicious. They grow their own vegetables and fruits. We ate roštilj with potatoes from their garden for dinner. For breakfast we had home made pie with sour cream (domaće kiselo mleko). It was perfect. 😍 You can discuss what would you like to eat with hosts and they can prepare you other dishes - sarma, pasulj (beans), stuffed peppers and dishes suitable for vegetarians. Also they can prepare you fish - trout from local fish farm.

Everything was great! I highly recommend expanding your capacity for accommodations.

The facilities are clean and homey, location is amazing - in a calm village below mountain with paths for hiking near by. But the best thing are the hosts - truly welcoming, with true Serbian hospitality and amazing food.

Wonderful accommodation, everything was clean. Nice and hospitable hosts, the atmosphere was gorgeous😍 I recommend this accommodation to everyone. I really enjoyed my stay🥰
