Wolwedans Desert lodge

Przepiękny obiekt, przepięknie położony na pustyni Namib! Najlepsze jedzenie, jakiego doświadczyliśmy w Namibii - szef kuchni codziennie wyczarowywał dla nas coś specjalnego biorąc pod uwagę nasze ograniczenia żywieniowe (co niestety nie we wszystkich obiektach było normą, pomimo tego, że normą jest pytanie o preferencje). Beata, cudownie się nami opiekowała podczas posiłków i zgodnie ze znaczeniem imienia czuliśmy się przy niej szczęśliwi. W związku z niekorzystną aurą podczas safari dostawaliśmy chroniące przed wiatrem poncho, a na noc do łóżka termofory z gorącą wodą :).

The location was breath taking. The accommodation was luxe and spotless. The food was great and staff are friendly. Service is excellent. The horse riding was lots of fun.

This place is absolutely magical! A HUGE THANK YOU to Ronaldo who is an absolute superstar and you can tell has a true passion for what he does. From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

The location was absolutely stunning, and both staff and guides were good to very good. They truly made the experience memorable, especially Johannes, Beata, and Franz, who were always friendly, kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Unfortunately, the food was far below expectations for a property of this category and price level. From breakfast to dinner, the quality, taste, and variety were disappointing and did not reflect the standard one would expect. Overall, the warm hospitality and outstanding guides were the highlights of our visit, but the culinary experience requires significant improvement to align with the overall quality and pricing of the establishment.
