Ithaa Beach

Our stay at Ithaa was truly unforgettable. We first arrived in Guraidhoo and stayed at another hotel, but it was a bad experience overpriced and disappointing. Luckily, we moved to Ithaa, and from that moment on, everything changed for the better. Hamdan, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful even before we arrived. Once we checked in, Abul welcomed us with a big smile and took care of us like family. He made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. The hotel itself is in a great location with everything nearby, and they even have a private beach where you can swim peacefully on your own. Breakfast was delicious, and the service overall was fast, friendly, and efficient. Ithaa felt like a second home, and we are so grateful for the care and warmth we received. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Guraidhoo! They will there till they dropped us at the speedboat. I would definitely go again here if I am going to this island.

The best thing about this guest house was the staff. Khayer was amazing, he was so helpful and friendly! He made a fantastic breakfast every morning, and helped out with reservations for activities and cleaned my room. He made my holiday great. The guest house itself is basic and a bit overpriced, the TV did not work for the whole 9 day stay, and originally the room description said there was a balcony with sea view, which there wasn’t. I noticed they have amended this now, as I complained.

Get the TV working, and use accurate property descriptions. The costs was too much without the TV and lack of balcony.

Breakfast was good.

The manager- Hamdaham was not clear about prices of anything including boat and excursion and only have prices right before the activity was taking place. The room was not cleaned once in our whole stay and no extra towels for those days.

Same breakfast every day. I would suggest guest to explore lunch and dinner outside the hotel as it will be cheaper and better options. Also limited options on the tour options on this island. 9.1 rating on this hotel is overly rated. I would say more of a 6.

TV was not working, Heater was not working properly. Breakfast menu was the same every day. For the price we paid, the room was fine but it was more of a budget hotel type rather than proper hotel. Don't have a high expectation. Location was a bit off.

Wow! That was amazing! The management responded very fast, helped me to organize transfer to the island and back. Btw I used public ferry. Farid met me at the port on an island and immediately surrounded with the support and care! He organized snorkeling and showed other interesting things on an island! The room was so clean and comfortable! Breakfast was served in the small garden outside - so good! On my departure day Farid prepared breakfast to take away! That’s so caring! Thank you so much! Everything is close and convenient! Highly recommend the hotel!
