Rustic Cabin Sleepover

Our hostess was warm, friendly and welcoming, and the bed was comfy with very cosy blankets to keep us warm. Gas heaters made up for the fact that there are slight gaps around the door, which allows the winter chill into the unit.

They had warm blankets, a heater, netflix and a fully equipped kitchen.

Location is very close to the town of Underberg. Gas heater and electric blankets kept us warm. A tv with Netflix and YouTube was a nice surprise, was good to relax and watch tv after a long day exploring. Electric and gas kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Location was at someone's house, the owners house iterally a few meters away. Owners dogs can be a bit noisy, barking day and night (not constantly but it is a factor). Gas shower can be a bit difficult to get the right temperature, was scalding hot or freezing cold if you don't get it right.

Gas geyser didn't work - could not set the temperature. No remote for the gate.

Absolutely great value for money! The cabin was spotlessly clean—warm, cozy and well‑equipped with everything I needed. The bed and blankets were very comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. It felt very safe, which made it an ideal place for a solo traveler like me. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Underberg, with quick access to Sani Pass tours, Maloti Drakensberg Park, Silverstream and other attractions. An added bonus: laundry is done for free if you stay two nights or more! Highly recommended for a relaxing, well‑located and secure getaway.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like—I loved everything about my stay!
