"3 night visit Sept 2025"

Already answered all the questions about how clean & fresh the cottage was. My wife's first comment was 'I could live here'. It's in a quiet village with no traffic noise. There's a decent pub 5:minutes walk away The village is off the tourist track but absolutely beautiful

"A comfortable cottage, great for a family of four in a small North Cotswold village"

8.0

The property was really lovely, in a quiet Cotswold village. Comfortable and clean, there was a kitchen, a courtyard garden space, a double ensuite and twin bedroom with a bathroom as well as downstairs WC. There was wifi and a tv with Netflix. I have a disability so a comfortable place to stay is important and this ticked those boxes. Andy, the host, was really pleasant to deal with.

We didn’t get details of how to access the property until after we had arrived so we had to wait a bit for access although that was resolved relatively quickly. The wifi stopped working on two occasions resulting in a couple of work zooms being missed although again Andy did work quickly to get it resolved. The parking also was a bit pressurised, a bit of car park jenga; maybe under more pressure as a couple of the properties in the area were being renovated. It was also noisy - again not something that the owners could do much about. We would have no hesitation at staying there again should we be in the area. A very sweeping generalisation is that the actual Cotswold residents who we encountered in that area were not overly friendly but we are from Ireland where people generally are so maybe it’s just a contrast. Let’s just say we wouldn’t want to live in the Cotswolds!
