Oreum Motel

- Pretty good location, in a side street off of one of Jeju City's main roads, so central but not too noisy. - Cleanliness was fairly good. - It did the job, comfortable place. - Value for money was fairly good.

- It feels a bit impersonal, you just take your key from the guard (who seemed surprised by my arrival, despite it being just a few minutes before check in time) - Really nothing I particularly disliked. It's a motel, it gets the job done well.

Clear and cheap accommodation.

The room is vast with a lot of space for your luggage. There is even a little table with chairs, if you need it for anything. The bathroom is okay and separated from the bedroom. The bed is comfortable, and there are a lot of plugs around it. Honestly, a very good hotel for the price.

The air conditioner was complicated to use, even with the translation, but it wasn't a big deal.

Our stay was excellent. Right near a bus station that you can reach directly from the airport. The owner and his wife were so welcoming despite the language barrier. The room was clean and the shower nice and warm, amazing value for your money. Big pro is that you have 2 convenience stores near you in case you get the munchies plus a very cheap ice cream store. You can take direct buses from here to most big tourist attractions on the island. Highly recommended going here if you plan to stay in Jeju on a budget. Couldn't have imagined anything better than this place for my stay.

The area it's located in might seem a bit dodgy at night, but we didn't have any problems during our stay even if walking out around midnight.

It was a central location, walking distance to the Jeju city hall. There was a CU and a 7-eleven nearby. Lots of food places 10-min walk away. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

I stayed for 10 days, so not having a microwave or laundry was a drawback. They missed cleaning a couple of days, which let trash accumulate in the room because I had gotten food from the outside.

Very large room and bathroom, comfortable large bed. Everything looks new or freshly renovated. Check-in was easy, we just showed the elderly gentleman at the reception the booking and got the key. Free parking downstairs to park your rented car. Very quiet at night. 7/11 and GS25 around the corner to grab some snacks. Easy to get to Hallasan trails starting point by bus (bus stop 5min walk). Fridge in the room, as well as a kettle/cups/tea.

The rooms and the hallways have light smell of cigarettes, it is noticeable but not disturbing.

Room was clean, location is very close to Jeju airport (takes ~10 mins by taxi). We arrived around 1pm but nice host allowed us to check in early, although check in time is on 3pm. Host is very friendly and we would love to stay here when coming back to Jeju.
