Desert Rain -Floating House

Beauties easy to reach location. Stunning views and gorgeous living arrangements. It was made to reconnect with people and nature. The owners were extremely easy to work with and readily available for every question! We had the best time in this gorgeous place.

Beautiful views, so peaceful the fire pit on the back patio and the back patio we spent a lot of time on relaxing and sharing our families Thanksgiving dinner, the kitchen was exceptional, the beds were soft and restful, the bathrooms heated seats were a welcome suprise and showers were great, We enjoyed hiking the area brings a few hiking surprises I'm leaving for you to explore and experience... Our stay here was such a wonderful experience, the home is far enough away from the main roads and freeway silence and peace was truly our experience we will definitely be back. That we could not stay longer

I loved the location being away from it all but not too far. Everything is easily accessible! The interior of the space … just wow! Each room has character. The beautiful window views!! The property is facing this gorgeous mountain… ! and sunset and sunrise was simply magical. Laying out under the stars on the balcony was my absolute favorite moment! Anddd there’s a fire pit at night, this was a lovely amenity! Our host even had a s’mores welcome pack for us upon arrival, which was such a hospitable touch. Overall the attention to detail was spot on! We had everything we needed on site. Desert Rain felt like a wellness retreat! 10/10 highly recommend

The bathtub is wonderful! They provide bath bombs which is very unique. The views are gorgeous, the exterior patio facing the mountains is an amazing experience. You can truly relax and experience wonderful sun rises and a great view of the starts. Everything is new, spacious and clean. It is near the freeway but you can’t hear it at all.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a romantic weekend at the Desert Rain. The view was amazing and the hosts were very helpful.

So calm and peaceful, with amazing nighttime views. The home was so clean, in the desert, I didn't think that could be possible. and the Soaker Tub, was just what I needed after long days in meetings. I totally felt safe and secure. Slept like a baby on the comfortable king-sized beds.

Google Maps initially took me a way that my Dodge Charger could not go. There truly is not anything about the home or my stay that I didn't like. I couldn't figure out the water machine, at first, but that was my own fault.

Location offers stunning desert mountain view. The facilities were chic modern but also welcoming and comfortable. Rustic touches added a "western" vibe to the modern architecture and furniture ensemble. The patio was private yet offered immediate and unrestricted view access to the desert mountain. Hosts were open to feedback and sincerely interested in us having a great experience.

There was nothing we didn't like but be prepared for a dirt road access.

The panoramic views were amazing! There are expansive sliding glass doors across each room which brought the outdoors, indoor! The huge deck was perfect for stargazing, and enjoying the quiet night. The sunrise over Gavilan Peak with my cup of coffee was a great way to wake up! The inside is beautifully designed and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again and want to explore more of the property and surrounding desert next time!
