important to knoe that the units at this place are very different from each other! We came because we liked the view in the pictures, but in the unit we got there was no view at all - only the roof of the nearby unit.

The size of the cabin and the view were great

I recently had an extremely disappointing stay at Voss Resort. First, the host doesn't include bed sheets or coverings in the booking price, and I had to pay extra to rent them. When I arrived after 8 PM, the reception was closed, so we had to spend the first night without any linens. The cabin smelled terrible, particularly the bathrooms, which stank despite my efforts with air fresheners. The reception building had a dining area but no restaurant or cafeteria, only offering soft drinks and ice cream during limited hours. This was particularly inconvenient given the isolated location, forcing us to drive into town for food and groceries. The kitchenware was in poor condition, and we had to thoroughly clean the few usable items. The worst part was the checkout experience. The host exaggerated a tiny scratch on the dining table, demanding payment as if it required replacing the entire table. They then charged me an exorbitant NOK 1,337 for an hour of cleaning, which was clearly an attempt to squeeze as much money out of guests as possible. This experience left me feeling extremely unwelcome, a sharp contrast to the usually friendly and hospitable nature of Norway. I would strongly advise against staying here.
