"Exceptional"

That was so beautifull and we love the the idee that the rooms was like in the bush. The living area and kitchen with fireplace was so beautifull with the river nearby.

We like all but if it is a rainy day and cold the ranch house rooms is 100m from the living room and kitchen and a lot of stairs for older people and to carry your luggage. Overall it was very nice

"Rest and relaxation"

Loved the boat house. Felt like a home away from home and the huge fire place was wonderful. The impromptu boat ride was a great surprise.

The bathrooms need more place to hang and dry towels. I know the boat house is busy with building on a toilet, this is much needed.

"Good"

The setting was beautiful, with large windows exposing idyllic river views and lush, green lawns. The bird life was amazing! We loved the luxurious bath and the big, comfy bed. It was a lovely, quiet, and private time away from the hustle and bustle.

The fireplace was not in order, and being winter, it was pretty chilly. We specifically sought out accommodation with a fireplace, so this was disappointing. The lodge is a lot more isolated than we expected, and the road to get there is quite long and a bit treacherous, which makes you think twice before leaving to go out for dinner or into town / to the beach.

"Peaceful weekend"

Unit was very spacious and well equipped. Loved all the candles!

I would suggest a top sheet on the bed instead of just a duvet. Also blinds or curtains for the big windows in the living room. Unfortunately the Jetmaster fireplace was not working when we were there, but the new owners had only recently taken over.
