Tui Cottage

The cottage is surrounded by farmland & is so peaceful. The deck chairs looking out to the farm animals is so relaxing. (The wee “4 legged”welcoming committee was my favourite!) The bed was super comfy & the place was spotless. The home made preserves, muesli & milk along with little chocolates was such a nice touch. Loved every minute of our stay & would love to book again next time we are up that way. 100% recommend to anyone looking for peace & quiet.

The fact that I only booked 1 night! I wish we could have stayed for 2! It was that relaxing!

The decor was rustic and beautiful. love how the wooden feature is all through the cottage. Great getaway as it's only an hour away from Auckland. Awesome deck that overseas a lush field also had a visit from the owners dog...super cute 😍

Beautiful grounds in general, everything was spotless on our arrival, the host are more then accommodating and although we didn’t eat the breakfast supplied were thankful for the thought (we just ran out of time that morning) getting to sit and watch the sky change with the cows walking past and beautiful bird song in the background was the highlight of my weekend. Again thank you to the amazing host for your kindness, hospitality and flexibility during our stay.

Everything was perfect. The host aimed to provide a 10/10 experience. It feels it was more than that. A sweet welcome, a warm cottage, peaceful nature and landscape, nice fournitures, incredible breakfast with homemade yogurt and marmelades. Thank you for having us, we will come back !

Coffee machine was a lifesaver. Super clean and comfy place.
