Happy House Hiriketiya

As other reviews have detailed this is a fabulous place to stay in Hiriketiya. It is only 15 mins walk to the main beach and is tucked away in a quiet spot but super close to the main strip. The room is exceptionally clean and calming and everything functions perfectly. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast at the property (for a small additional fee). What is not to love.

What an amazing place! Just as the name suggests, our stay was super happy. The accommodation is everything you need - clean, spacious and with AC. The host was super friendly and helped us out so much. Location is also great with just a short walk to the beach. Value for money is also incredible!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here. We loved it so much we extended our trip by a week. The owner is so lovely and helped us with everything we needed - including Moped hire and laundry service. My boyfriend and I both agree this is the best hospitality we’ve ever received. The location is perfect, only a 2 min moped to the main strip of Hiriketya. The main thing we loved was the amount of monkeys we saw everyday, it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. Perfect place for a quiet romantic getaway, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Loved everything about our stay at Happy House! Wonderful and caring hosts, accommodation was perfect - clean, spacious, great shower and comfortable beds - and the location was tranquil and full of greenery and nature. Hiri centre is a 5 min walk, beach is 10 min walk and Dickwella beach 15-20 depending on your pace! Highly recommend if you're staying in Hiriketyia.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and even made us breakfast at short notice. They also organized a scooter for us (2000 lkr/day). The location isn’t directly in the center of town, but still walking distance from the beach.

Its is a really new and amazing place. They have a lovely garden with some chairs to hang. You can even securely park here. The owner and his family are really really nice and will help you with everything. The rooms are clean and the bathroom and shower are excellent. They have a really quiet and good working aircon as well. The place is just a few minutes walking distance from the beach and the surrounding area is really quiet. They also serve you an amazing breakfast! Happy house is definetly one of the best stays we have had in sri lanka!
