Casa Almary

The house is situated in a little village above Amalfi. The locals are very friendly and helpful. There are 2 shops in the village plus a regular bus service into Amalfi. There's a lovely downhill walk into Amalfi too. Food and drinks are served in Gerrys pub in the village. Gerry and his wife Maddy are very friendly!

Liked everything but as the village is on a hillside there are steps up and down to the property so it might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

the host was great! Knowledgeable and very responsive. I loved the view that we had from here. it was beautiful. Casa Almary was also a large space. we didn’t use the kitchen but there is a kitchen and some utensils and silverware and all that if needed. including a fridge and such. Good air conditioning in the bedroom!

Just beware that you have to go up and down like 150+ stairs to get to and from the place lol. not bad as they’re not steep! but just a heads up because I underestimated the amount of stairs. also, the shower goes in a cycle from hot water for 2 minutes to colder water for like 30 seconds (while the water heats back up and you can hear it happening). definitely didn’t think this was an issue though as it gets hot quick again and when the water is warm, it’s truly warm. so just beware that it will indeed get hot again quickly :)
