River House

Nice location, nearby the small river, good for 4 people stay.

It was not really clean inside, some places were sticky. Not very nice that it is not clear how much you need to pay for hot tube and also for other facilities. No hot water was available.

Beautiful grounds, river in the backyard. House has everything for a relaxing stay in the nature. Attentive and kind host. Absolutely loved the place.

The bed/mattress is a little rough. This didn't impact our stay much, but it would have made it beyond perfect if it was a little more comfortable.

Beautiful location, great rustic features. Fireplace is excellent and facilities were overall very good. Owner was overall very helpful.

The roof light window above the main bed has no blind. I raised it with the owner but he wasn’t able to help with this during our stay. This is a very simple and inexpensive basic requirement for a bedroom. He should have agreed to at least pin some cardboard or a sheet as a temporary measure

Very nice, comfortable and cozy place, friendly owner. Beautiful and private location with great view and river- good for winter swimming in winter :)

Everything was great, I assume the mattress in bed could be too hard for some people, but we enjoyed.

Location is perfect if you move by car and have main activities in Sigulda, around 20 minutes from there to the cottage thats near tiny but really nice river. Cottage is really cozy and warm even when outside was around -23c celsius. Owner was really kind and showed us around. Sauna was warm and there was plenty of firewood to keep sauna + fireplace active whole stay. Would be nice to visit the place also in summer as place offers really nice stay next to the river including fireplace and barbeque but was really nice even at winter. Basically you could go there empty handed and this spot has everything you need for a great stay. Thank you, hope cottages like yours will have fair amount of great customers! 10+
