"A sad Porth Lodge"

Breakfast and service good Comfortable bed Clean towels
Not a good welcome. We rang the bell. Nothing. We FOUND the owner sat watching tv and felt we were intruding. Bathroom. Very tired. Basin and plug unclean. Door sticks. Mirror tired. Shower only warm. Bedroom carpet full of stains. Lampshade fell off. Not able to screw into the lamp Tea coffee station access difficult. Kettle lid broken Communal areas, tired Sheets appeared clean but bed wasn't made completely. Had to straighten everything out also the pillows were very very hard.

Room clean, location great, bar and restaurant on site.
Parking was tricky but it was full season so the place was packed, however there was also a bowling alley there so a few car left later that evening.

Breakfast really good, really fast service too definitely a 9/10 at least! Location lovely & quiet Free upgrade to a small double was a fantastic start!
Wi-fi wasn't great not a lot of forthcoming info re the wi-fi and the tv channels(maybe my lack of techno nous to blame in fairness though! Although both sorted eventually - had all the tv channels I needed! However all in all a most magnificent stay and I cant really fault anything much
