Croft House Hastings

Location. Good (shared) kitchen facilities.

Room was very warm despite having the window open all night. I imagine it It would be extremely hot in summer. One electrical socket was alarmingly lose and almost certainly unsafe. Bed was too soft with noisy springs. Wooden floor is clean but looks not / could do with a sanding.

Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Could not find any bowls or plates for breakfast

The house looked well cared for. The room was clean so the windows and toilets. The bed was beautiful and comfortable. I had the best sleep in a long time

The location and view from our bedroom was perfect.

Location very quiet, lovely ambiance in the house and a friendly host

We thought the building and room were charming and well located

Although there is parking, driving a large vehicle up the lane doesn't really work. Unfortunately for us, the bed was entirely too soft for our liking and bad backs, so we were unable to stay for both nights we'd booked.

We had a exceptional time staying at the Croft. It was cosy. And homely everything you could need was available. So much character and warmth to this property.

There was only one thing that needs attention and that was our en-suite handbasin was rather small with a shelf directly under it making it hard to use.
