Waterfront Canal Luxury Apartment

Location is great for getting to the Waterfront and the apartment was spacious. Bonus was secure parking. Victor from Hosted who checked us in was fabulous. Nice outlook over the canal and the staff at reception were very friendly.

There was no milk for coffee, and only 2 coffee pods. For the rates I paid I would also have expected as a minimum to have Netflix or some other streaming service as there was not even terrestrial TV available. The cleanliness of the apartment also lacked a bit, the floor desperately needs a really good scrub (my feet were filthy after walking around barefoot) and the shower floor also needs cleaning as it was slick with cleaning product and quite slippery.

Location was good. The large fridge was a welcome bonus.

There was an issue with the wifi. Doesn't reach the bedroom and kept on going on and off, not a stable connection. I was told to reboot it which helped for all of 10 mins. Noise from the highway is constant. There is very little sound barrier from the window. So if you are a light sleeper you will have an issue. I would suggest a soap dish in the bathroom as once you open the hand soap, there is no place to put it down.

Clean and spacious with modern amenities.

Lacking with some of the small details that you would expect (eg limited soup/shampoo, quality of toilet paper). The blinds in the bedroom didn’t adequately block out the light from the corridor lights so we had to hang additional covers.

Nothing - additional rail in bathroom would be nice and comfortable - We value security - the gats closing at 20:00 Might be extend in summer time with one hour to 21:00
