Casa in pieno centro comoda, pulitissima, dove non mancava nulla. Disponibilità di Angelo che ci ha fornito tra l'altro il pass per parcheggiare in centro (non scontato, Grazie!!!) e ci ha offerto 3 colazioni

Our host was so incredible, I don't have words to explain! From bringing extra blankets to exceptional restaurant and hiking recommendations to a parking pass and late checkout option, he's a gem. The place is beautiful and well positioned in Gaeta. We had such a wonderful time, I plan to break my own rule and come back during high season. Breakfast was amazing!!

The heat was a bit hard to regulate, but we got it figured out. We were there in the winter and opted for the (windier) rooftop apartment, though the larger lower floor was offered to us, so it was our own minor issue! But as I said, we were brought extra blankets and all was fine. I will return.

Spacious apartment that was well equipped and generously stocked, including milk, beer, orange juice and snacks. A parking pass that was usable in all Gaeta blue line parking. Friendly owner who was proactive with sending information and willing to refund the money we paid for our stay when we left due to the issues set out below.

We were kept up all night by a party held by guests in the apartment above us that went until 6am. Angelo said this hadn't happened before and was apologetic, BUT: - We messaged and tried to call him on WhatsApp every 30 minutes from 3.30am. We could see that he had read the first few messages (2 ticks on WhatsApp showing when messages are read), but he didn't bother to respond, turned off his phone and stopped reading messages, and then claimed the next day that he had been sleeping. Even if he hadn't read the messages, as an owner/manger who lives offsite, he should have been available. - We tried to call him on WhatsApp (Australian number) the following morning and he still didn't answer, until we used our Italian number to call him. He appeared to only answer because he thought someone else was calling him. - He claimed that it was illegal to have parties at the property and that he took the matter seriously, but he came to that apartment to refund our money at about 9am and we didn't hear the guests leaving after that - we were there until 10.30am, so they were allowed to continue to stay until at least then. If they weren't asked to leave, how was the matter treated seriously? While this situation may not be common, be aware that Angelo isn't available 24/7 to deal with things like this, like other hosts. He also wasn't available to check us in when we arrived at 3.20pm due to his work, and we had to wait 1 hour for him. He had told us that he wouldn't be available until 4.10pm and that his other host was busy, so we knew there would be some wait, but again be aware of his lack of availability.

Very well set up apartment. Had everything included that made for a comfortable stay including washing machine. It was about a 10 minute walk to the old part of Gaeta but close to restaurants. There is a delightful alley which runs at end of the Via that we loved.

Stairs were a quad workout.

Excellent location in Gaeta close to great food and amenities. The host is extremely responsive and very helpful for anything you need during your stay. Great terrace to relax and very clean comfortable apartment.
