Shut off your pilot light on the heater in the summer months, it creates heat I. The room. N w/o a/c. It's hotttt

We stayed in Room 108 which has two bathrooms and a sofa sleeper. The room was clean. It was a quick walk to the beach, and it's across the street from a coffee place and an ice cream parlor.

Let's start with the room temperature. There is no A/C in Room 108 and the windows face into a courtyard with pavers and decorative vegetation. Unfortunately, due to the location of the windows, the vending machine alcove blocks most breezes that might come through the windows, and any breeze the might blow in is further blocked by the vegetation. The result was a room so warm that the outside air of 83-85 degrees felt like a deep freeze by comparison. The first night was so awful, we couldn't sleep. The next day we bought a couple small fans from the Grocery Outlet to use as exhaust fans to pull the heat from the room during the day, and at night, we used them to pull cool air into the room. We did not enjoy our stay - the room was hot during the day and wasn't much better at night even with the fans. The irony of the heat issue is that although our guest room did not have A/C, we noticed there is a window unit in the staff office for comfort of the staff. It's too bad they don't care as much about the comfort of their guests. As for location, our room was at a bend in the hallway, so we could hear foot (and roller bag) traffic on two sides and the public restroom on a third side not to mention the people in the room above us liked to run around in their room. We're not normally light sleepers, but between the heat and the noisy room location, we returned home more exhausted than we left.

Right on the beach. Wonderful location. Clean comfortable room. Nice staff.

The room was not as described. We upgraded to make it a special time for our Honeymoon. The sink was clogged. The shower drain would not drain fast enough to keep water from going in floor. There were spiders crawling on us at night. Then when we tried.to leave, the security gate would not recognize the key they gave me to operate the gate.

Absolutely loved the location, close to the lake, close to nature and walking trails, away from the downtown madness. Feels like a secluded, mountain lodge. The added benefit of an on site restaurant on the lake was a wonderful option !
