The historical aspect and quietness

No fans in bathrooms and clearing of snow was kind of slow but all in all great stay

"Would highly recommend this place!"

Great location – close to the lake and felt very peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good on-site restaurant as well, with 50% off an appetizer for hotel guests. There wasn't a TV in the room, though the wifi was good. The outdoor hot tub looked really nice, but we didn't end up braving the cold walk over to use it!

"A quiet old-timey hotel in the forest, cozy and warm."

Location! Quiet, in the forest, short walk to the lake, close to the Y that has everything, and the camping/cabin vibe is great.

The parking lot was kinda muddy since the snow was melting.

"Cozy winter"

It was my first time in Tahoe and booked the best place to stay. Earl helped out check in late and was very friendly. The property is cozy and walking distance to the beach. Coffee and tea is served in the morning. The lobby has a fireplace and welcoming atmosphere.

"The facility Needs to be updated for sure."

It was close to the beaches.

Rooms were extremely hot to sleep in. We didn’t have hot water 3 out of the 4 days. The garbage truck came at 6am the last two days and will wake you up since the windows all have to be open. Their hot water room was making horrible noises that started at 3:30am.
