Stunning seaview villa

This property has a beautiful outside space, the views are stunning, the gardens are extensive and there are multiple places to sit and relax. It was well equipped with outside furniture and the outside space was generally well equipped. The property is actually 2 completely self contained villas within the garden complex, which meant lots of space. It has excellent powerful aircon. It was a little in the middle of nowhere but we were prepared for that so this was not a surprise, and meant it was generally peaceful. The hosts were very helpful with giving lots of information regarding the local supermarkets / restaurants etc. you can walk to the beach easily, the pool was lovely and lots of wildlife around.

This property, as other reviews have mentioned, does require some TLC. Some of the curtains were not hung properly, some light fittings were broken, including the lights in the pool, there were stains on the wall and it did not feel like it had had a deep clean in a while. There were crumbs on the sofa which were not ours, and you could not use the hob and the oven at the same time in the lower villa without tripping the electrics. Some have mentioned the road noise, I think this is due to the motorway and the geography of the location and not something which is otherwise avoidable. There are no sunshade umbrellas which means you are completely reliant on the shade from the trees, which was fine for us but I imagine in the height of summer this may not be adequate. Someone also came at 7am one morning to clean the pool which we did not have any prior warning of. One of the toilets had also been removed from the top villa bathroom, which could have impacted our stay had we been a larger group. Whilst the property was generally well equipped, it appeared that there was no inventory, for example there were only 3 knives, and random assortments of cutlery and crockery. The kettles needed considerable descaling. Lots of things in the property did not feel like they had been cared for. These things did not really affect our stay, but for the price we did expect the property to be better presented. The property really needs a deep clean and some TLC.

Great outdoor, great see view, very nice pool Not far from Palermo less than 30 min with highway

: 1) Noisy as road is below and above villa, all cars making noise due to U turn 2) The wifi is only working very very slow and inside 3) in low building at parking level, 1st floor bathroom sliding door cannot be opened nor closed 4) in high building at pool level, the bread toaster does not work and no oven 5) high building ground floor toilets cannot be used due to water not flowing out 6) kitchen glass hob broken As a side note, I would suggest to append a dish washer and micro wave oven to improve service quality ...
