Green Grove

Todo estaba muy limpio, la familia que lo lleva es encantadora y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. La ubicación es perfecta, justo al lado de la playa. ¡Muy recomendable!

This is a lovely place to stay in Matara. Very close to the local Midiha beach and one km from the Polhena beach. Both beaches are good. The room is basic but very comfortable and clean and bathroom was also very clean. The family that runs the place is a very nice, warm-hearted, hardworking family. They also serve good breakfast (not included in the tariff). They arranged for our transportation while we were there and a car to take us to our next destination - all at competent prices. It is very close to some really great restaurants by the ocean. They have another guest house just opposite to theirs which has a swimming pool that we could use! We will definitely recommend to the place to everyone.

Very clean, spacious and pleasant surroundings. Beach access was great.

I liked the overall warmth of the Hosts and also the hospitality. The Breakfast was increaidble quality. Loved the Cofee and the Srilankan omlette.

The Pricing could havebeen better and they didnt have anyone except the owner during the Brekafast. She is very very efficient and a caring person, but in her absence, i dont know how they will manage it.

This is a wonderful hotel. The owners were so helpful. It is in a beautiful setting off the main road. The rooms are immaculate. Its well located and has it's own private beach a short walk away. The breakfast is excellent. I recommend the Srilankan breakfast. It's connected to The Beach Inns, a well run establishment close by. We had a brilliant time here, so relaxing, and would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, very great location (calm but walking distance to 2 surf spots), delicious breakfast (we took the Sri Lankan Breakfast), comfortable room with very warm light and modern bathroom, beautiful balcony/terrace viewing the very beautiful garden. The family is extraordinarily amazing and helped with everything. They even baked a birthday cake for my boyfriend - so caring and thoughtful It smells beautiful and is very peaceful because of the Incense sticks every evening. We felt like home and extended 3 nights.

I really loved this place so this is an odd thing to say but if I try my best to find something negative it would only be that the door of our room was dragging on the floor and the bathroom door was difficult to close.

This place is absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating for families. We visited with our 1-year-old and felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, with a great shower, plenty of space, and surrounded by lush greenery. It's just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to excellent dining options and activities. The family who runs it is truly wonderful—warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious mix of freshly made local dishes and Western options. They even had a baby chair, which made things so much easier for us. We felt right at home, and they were so kind to us and our child. Highly recommend this spot, and we can’t wait to stay here again!
