The property was ideally located for an ultra cycling event with shops in close proximity.

Everyone was warm and welcoming. It was a pleasant place to stay and we enjoyed a well earned rest on arrival.

It was convenient for purpose but I wouldn't go again

The greeting didn't help a woman travelling alone... "oh no not Booking.com I've been so busy, let's see if I have anything"! The room was dimly lit, the shower had very low power, the macerator toilet rattled the floorboards and went off randomly, the kettle was dirty, TV didn't work and the mirror in the bathroom balanced on a small shelf was a Health and Safety accident waiting to happen. I won't return and wouldn't recommend it. I should have spoken to my colleagues before as it turns out one of them had the same experience!

The food was excellent and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking and it was easy to find .

The breakfast was a continental one which isn’t really my thing . The bathroom could do with some tlc.

Nice late bar. Good central location. Bedroom was big and a big double bed.

The bathroom had one of those horrible suction pumps that makes horrendous noises. Probably due to this plumbing it was a waste of time trying to run a bath as it would have taken over an hour! The room description should have said “continental breakfast”

The food in the pub was excellent.

When we checked in the barman told us it was a continental breakfast and he would sort it when the chef came in we also told him we had no milk for making a drink again he said he'd sort it. No milk or breakfast was put in our room so we had to go to the cafe opposite.
