I've traveled extensively & internationally for decades. I've used many private host accommodations & fortunately never been scammed before. Shortly upon arrival, the host accused me of disabling her surveillance camera. Of course, I neither knew she had one let alone tampered with it. She insisted that I be there the next day when she'd scheduled a repair person to come & that I was responsible for the repair cost. Not knowing what she'd want me to pay for next & having a full schedule the next day, I booked other accommodations & told her I'd leave the following morning. I asked her to cancel the 3 remaining nights I'd paid for but she refused. I made sure to take photos of everything to show that I'd left the place in perfect condition. Given her behavior, she more than likely purchased her positive reviews.  I moved to a legitimate hotel, where guests were treated professionally. This case was filed with the Federal Trade Commission & is being pursued by an international travel troubleshooting agency as private host fraud has grown. 

Amazing in every way. The host was fantastic.

The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift. I didn’t mind it but people with disabilities may find it a challenge to negotiate the stairs.

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of the centre. The room was very clean and was very easy to access and locate.
