Ship Ashore

Everyting was so well-maintained and clean it was such a pleasant stay for us. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the train+bus station. It’s also very unique and has a beautiful garden ☺️ There are some outdoor chairs placed outside, perfect for enjoying the summer sun & wind. The amenities were good and functioning, there’s even an airfryer. It was such a unique interior, made like a ship and we were gushing about each detail as my friend and i had an interior architecture background 😅 Will definitely come back here if I go to Penzance again!

The wifi is quite slow so we ended up just using our personal hotspot

It was such a unique property with an interesting history which the owners were happy to share with us. The garden was spectacular and well maintained with an amazing view. The perfect place to start and finish a day in Penzance

Excellent location, near station and town, and overlooking harbour. Lovely garden with various sitting out places. Own private access. The property itself was quirky and fun.

There was nothing we didn't like.

An absolutely perfect location overlooking the harbour. A small, quirky 'boat like' cabin situated in beautiful terraced gardens. Complete with a lookout post!

What a fun & quirky place to stay in the heart of Penzance… perfect location to walk or cycle to St Michael’s Mount - we loved renting the electric Beryl bikes. The hosts were super helpful & very kind. Thank you Jon, we’ll be back again next year 😊

My partner is 6’5” tall, so the bunks were a bit of a challenge, but he did fit (just!) & still wants to visit Ship Ashore again…

Quirky nautical theme in cabin&gardens. Beautifully furnished,all appliances easy to use&working.Garden was stunning,lit up with nightlights in the evening. So relaxing sat outside overlooking the calming water on lovely table&chairs,admiring stunning views.Fascinating mini conservatory.Real attention to detail in everything and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic stay Fantastic cabin and gardens and fantastic hosts!!
