Apartment Lantana Hvar

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The owner Marin, who was very friendly, met us down in the town to take us up to the apartment. It has lovely views from the balcony. The bathroom and in particular the shower was excellent. We chose Lantana Hvar as it had a washing machine so we were able to pack compactly. The mattress and pillows were somewhat on the firm side but we got used to them. It is situated on a hill (hence the great views) so anyone with mobility issues or who can't walk up or down hill for 15 mins, this isn't the place for you. Overall a great place to stay if you're pretty fit walkers.

Beautiful apartment, all new and well equipped, we were only there 2 nights but definitely suitable for a longer stay too. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, he came to meet us and gave us a lift to the apartment

A bit out of town, up a fairly steep hill so not great if you have mobility issues. Got a taxi back the first night e20 for 5 minute ride, outrageous! Hired a car for 24 hours much better and got to explore this beautiful island so recommend to consider doing that

location. it was stated that it was up a steep hill and there is no problem if u have your own car. however coming back up is challenging and not advisable at night as not so well lit and no footpath in places so u r on the road. taxis have a minimum charge of 20 euros even just for a drive of 3 minutes whereas in other cities it is 6 euros as Hvar is much more expensive than elsewhere in croatia. so just be aware excellent property but factor in the location

Marin is the best host for a Stay in Hvar!!! You must stay in Apartment Lantana. We were amazed by the wonderful hospitality and atmosphere of the residence. Five stars

Everything

The apartment was very clean and new. Excellent facilities including a full kitchen and washing machine, with extra touches such as washing soap being available. Suggestions of places to go in the area by the host was also appreciated, and he very kindly picked us up from town when we arrived to avoid the walk uphill with our bags. While a bit of a walk up hill from town at other times, it was relatively short (15mins) and the apartment was very quiet and peaceful, which you may not have with closer apartments. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will come back if we visit Hvar again :)
