Near to the shops and high street

I paid £110 per night for 1 person and my trip was educational. I booked for 8 nights. After receiving checking in instructions, I was asked to do the household chores at the check out, which were not in the set of rules for the property to which you agree before booking. I have contacted the booking. com customer services and explained that it is not being agreed to prior to booking and a good hospitality business would offer a maid services for that price, not asking the guest to do household chores before checking out. The reply was, that they contacted the host and the matter was settled, also the reply from customer services was that I could even leave my luggage in a yard of the property for 2 hours after checking out. However, after I checked out I received a message from the host, that she wasn’t happy, that I haven’t abided by the checking out rules and didn’t clean, to which I didn’t agree in the first place. I certainly didn’t expect to be hustled, after paying £110 per night for my stay

Spacious, very private and perfect location to walk to everything.

Homely, v clean, well stocked, close to town centre

Being really picky- lack of plug sockets esp in bedroom, an extension lead would’ve been good for the fan. Larger cups / glasses options but not essential

Great location.

Great location near to shops but still peaceful. Homely feel.
