Kailash Villa Balangan

This place is absolutely amazing!! The room was very clean, as were the common areas (pool and kitchen). We planned to stay for 3 days and ended up staying 10! The staff is fantastic, always kind, they offered us fruit a couple of times and about every other day offered to clean the room. There’s also a scooter rental service. The Wi-Fi is fast, super AC, and the common area on the terrace is great for doing stuff on your computer for hours. The place is away from the chaos, in a quiet neighborhood, but at night you might wake up to roosters crowing, so I recommend bringing earplugs. Everything was fantastic!!!!

Nothing I did not like, everything was good. One small downside maybe that it was a bit further away, but if you rent a scooter it is no problem. Scooter rental was very very cheap for a new modern model. I really recommend this stay. It was very clean as well

Fantastic Stay at Kailash Villa, Balangan I ended up extending my stay at Kailash Villa multiple times — that’s how much I loved it. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, always making me feel at home. The villa was consistently clean and tidy, with cozy, modern rooms that felt both comfortable and fresh. The location is a bit tucked away, which adds to the peaceful vibe, but I’d definitely recommend having a scooter to easily get to nearby restaurants, cafes, and the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped, perfect for cooking your own meals if you’re staying a bit longer. Overall, a great spot for a quiet, relaxing stay in Balangan. Highly recommend!

Only down fall is that the pool doesn't get sun until the afternoon.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, as were all the common areas, including the pool and kitchen, which were in great condition. The staff and host were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist and offer useful advice. The accommodation is a bit far from the city center, but there's a well-stocked supermarket nearby, and it only takes a short ride by scooter to reach the center. It's a great option for those looking for peace and quiet but still wanting easy access to main attractions. A truly positive experience, I would definitely return!

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about the accommodation. The only minor issue was that to get from the airport, I had to pass along an unpaved road, which was a bit rough even by car. Of course, this is something beyond the host's control. If you're traveling by scooter, I would recommend avoiding that road and perhaps asking the host for the best route to take.

Very clean and comfortable, good value for money!

The room is very comfortable and clean, the bed is soft and huge. They provide towels, soap and shampoo, toilet paper, and the wifi is very good. Small tables and chairs outside of the room, I didn't use the pool but it looks very clean, also a lot of plants around the area. The location is far from a crowded road which is very important in overpopulated Bali. The staff are very friendly and cute 😊 Love them! Also they agreed to keep my luggage for a couple of days while i was driving to Batur and Amed.

9 of 10 only because my room was right in front of the gate and everyone could see what was inside so i couldn't open the curtains properly. But because nobody is walking around it wasn't a problem at all at last.

Homestay super nice, room is clean, newly built and bed comfortable. Kitchen is great with fridge, coffee and water refill.

It’s located in a remote and quiet area of Uluwatu, beautiful if you wanna have peace but scooter is a most which can be rented at the stay. Tricky to get a grab/Gojek as the driver thinks it too remote to pick you up. It’s lots of animals around. Chicken screaming day and night, something was climbing on the roof which was super load so earplugs is a must during the nights.
