Pobla Hotel

The aesthetic of the room is clean and modern. I love the interiors and it's also near to restaurants and the city.

the pool is too small and you can't really swim at night because it would be too dark. I hope they will put lights at the pool. Overall the lack of lights on the property its too dark.

The staff and the renovation

Staff was nice. There is no receptionist after 23:00.

To be honest I was expecting more

Very new, clean, modern hotel. Probably more convenient if you have a car although there are two restaurants within a two minute walk

Towels were presumably not dried properly resulting in a mildew smell. Staff immediately changed them of course but even the new ones still had the smell. I’m guessing they will rectify this

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en denkt goed met je mee, bij aankomst kan je een plan maken voor eventueel de volgende dag (zoals zwemmen met de whalesharks), ze kunnen je helpen met het regelen van de ferry.

De airco is aan de kleinere kant waardoor die niet de hele kamer goed kan afkoelen, als je het snel heet hebt moet je hier rekening mee houden.

Staff were nice.

Hotel is new, and had lacked some real basic function, no milk, no secure place to put your passport, no restaurant of any sort, and filtered water was on ground floor so you. Whilst it was ultra modern, and staff were helpful, it by far needed some more work, no fridge in the room, that was big one. No security, felt exposed and unsafe. They leave at 10pm. No twin beds option. Given the cost, it lacked alot of hotel experience for me.
