Dated but well kept. Pool is so convenient to the rooms. Studios have full kitchen with a stovetop and oven. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom is very small (but has everything you need).

Nice little place, clean and close to everything. Good Value for the $$$

Loved the location straight across from the beach. The rooms are perfect with small everything microwave stove refrigerator plates cups cooking pans anything u need.

The parking is a little rough if u go during a busy week be prepared to get stressed

I like accommodations that have character and are not "cookie-cutter". This little motel seemed to fit my expectations. I liked the set up with the hammocks and sand right in front of the room. Overall, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and for the price it was a good deal. The location is definitely great - beach is in walking distance, and there is a Circle K two minutes from the motel for snacks, etc. John's Pass is close enough to walk.

The motel is located right on the main street, so you do hear some of the traffic passing by at night. The air conditioner is working well, but can also be a little loud at times. The bathroom was tiny, and there was not really room to put any of our toiletries, so I kept them on the stove in the main room. The "nook" that is supposed to hold the clothes needs to have more hangers and maybe even an additional shelf. The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispenser popped off the wall in the middle of the first night and woke us up. The smoke alarm started chirping soon after that. I told the lady at the front desk in the morning and she took the dispensers out and changed the batteries in the smoke detector pretty much immediately, so there were no more issues after that.
