Nature palace is a serene, calm and peaceful stay. I had a wonderful stay.

What a lovely and very peaceful place to stay in Shey! The owner Arif was very quick to respond to my messages and very helpful when I had any questions. I felt very welcomed at the house. Wonderful and very hospitable family. Arif went out of his way to make sure I had an excellent stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. They also have a menu available with vegetarian and vegan options. The food was so delicious! Would highly recommend to stay here if you're looking for a place outside of the hussle and bussle of Leh!

This stay at Nature Palace Farmstay was remarkable for the host's genuine hospitality and the exceptional service standards offered. Arif, the host, was amazingly responsive and thoughtful, and was constantly striving to improve the stay - ably supported by his parents. The room was spacious and well appointed, the bath and toilet was spotlessly clean and the complimentary mini-toiletry packs was useful. Despite the rural ambience the washing machine, hot geyser and superfast wi-fi made life easier. There was uninterrupted power supply but the local power cuts sometimes affected geyser and larger appliances. Nestled in a small village near the Indus river, this a quiet farmstay where we wake to the sounds of birdsongs and riverflow. That said , the final approach to the farmstay is somewhat muddy and might be a small struggle especially if it rains. Authentic, homely Ladakhi food cooked by the matriarch was tasty and healthy. Her passion for food was reflected in each dish. For example, the taste of the local bread Khambir made by her - eaten with omelette and dollops of butter - will grow on you! And this food is genuinely farm to fork - most of the vegetables used here for cooking are grown in their fertile farm patch. The patriarch will happily give you a tour of the tiny farm with infectious enthusiasm. The standout feature of our farmstay experience however remains the openhearted, effortless hospitality of the host. Thanks for a 10-star experience Arif!

Peaceful location, big comfortable rooms, tasty homemade food, just wonderful!

This was my second visit to Nature Palace Farmstay, and once again, I absolutely loved it! The amazing hospitality is what brought me back—they truly feel like family now. The warmth and kindness of the people here make every stay special. The food is mouth-watering and always a highlight of the experience. It's the perfect escape for peace and authentic charm.
