"An excellent base for a lovely holiday."

8.0

Fabulous location. 10 mins from Holkham and Wells beaches, and round the corner from the delightful Walsingham-Wells light railway. The cottage itself was lovely and quaint. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed.

There were a couple of minor issues with the cottage e.g. malfunctioning toilet seat, but I have informed the management so that these can be fixed.

"Very comfortable and an excellent choice. I will be booking again!"

Fantastic location close to the shrine and the property was very comfortable. Easy access and very well catered for.

Very hard to criticise. It was missing a quiche tin… clutching at straws here.

"Very Good"

Cozy and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Great location for exploring Norfolk and nice local amenities. Nice sunny spot in the evening to sit outside. We had a lovely stay.

The heating came on at random times so it was a little chilly in the morning at night.

"Fantastic stay in beautiful Walsingham"

10.0

Comfy, light filled, exceptionally well stocked, especially the kitchen. Proximity to farm shop and shrine. Loved the woodstove and peaceful back garden. Our three year old announced she wanted to stay forever.

Took us Americans a few minutes to find the whole house water turn-on by the dishwasher. Everything else we needed had excellent instructions and signage, but we nearly needed to call someone for the water.

Excellent supply of crockery, pots& pans etc. Lovely mugs. Well fitted kitchen, appreciated the dishwasher. Weather was cold but we were able to use the central heating. Some really nice pictures and ornaments It really felt like somebody's much loved home and garden .

The steep staircase, steps from hall into dining room and another one into kitchen. My friend and I are both in our eighties but there was no indication when we booked that the house wouldn't be suitable. Would suggest a handrail should be fitted where there are three steps up to the dining room. We didn't meet the hosts . We had been asked to give them £200 deposit on arrival but nobody came to get it.

"Very pleasant, comfortable cottage."

9.0

The cottage was very well located and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery and cooking implements. A separate dining room was a big plus. The bedroom we used was reasonably spacious with a view across the fields. If one had little ones there was a well furnished bedroom with bunk beds and toys. We did not use the other, smaller bedroom, but this still had a double bed, but this was against the wall on one side. The bathroom was a well laid out room with a shower over the bath. The heated towel rail ensured dry and warm towels. The lounge was well fitted out with a TV (we didn't use it) with a DVD player. The main lights were dimmable plus there were two side table lamps. Through the back door accessed via a decked patio was a very pleasant garden with a summer house and a small lawn. This garden was not overlooked.

There was nothing that we disliked, however when we got there the towel rail and a socket were not working. Following an email a phone call was received and the problems fixed next day. Very good service. This is inevitable in an old house but there are several changes of level on the ground floor. This is not so much a dislike but a warning to any future guest who might expect a flat ground floor.
