Ugron Castle Fiatfalva

We stayed for three wonderful nights at Ugron Castle, a very beautiful and peaceful XVth Century Hungarian Palace in the village of Filiaş. With a large domain with patios, gardens and large, old trees, you have plenty of space to enjoy nature and for your pet to explore. We came together with our senior dog who had a very good time as well. We asked for a ground floor room, because he is unable to walk up the stairs and we were accommodated in a beautiful, cool room in the Granarium section. Everything was spotless, clean and cozy. When we entered the room we had an instant feeling of being on a holiday, far away from any stress or concern and soon discovered the many spaces inside and outside the castle that we could use. The interior has been carefully and tastefully renovated. You can relax or work in large ballrooms or a more intimate, small library. We also had a small table with garden chairs right outside our room which we could use to enjoy the garden in front of our room. The large patio in the central courtyard of the castle has plenty of benches and tables where you can enjoy tea or coffee. And you can also ask for a relaxing hot tub experience at the end of the day. The staff has been wonderful, friendly, always smiling and always helpful. They accommodated all of our needs and answered all our questions. We also got a very tasty buffet breakfast, with fruit, vegetables, cereal, a charcuterie board, jams, desert and optional fried eggs or omelette. Tea and coffee at your discretion at any time of the day. It was plentiful and tasty and always offered us a good early morning start. For Lunch and Dinner you can go to the nearby city (Cristuru Secuiesc - 6 minutes away by car) where you will find restaurants with local food or if you would rather prefer a classic burger, you will find that as well. If you’re in for exploring further, you will find plenty of interesting places to go about.

Un loc minunat readus la viata din ruine cu dăruire si grija. Totul, pana în cele mai mici detalii, este gândit cu respect pentru istorie, dar si confort. Obiecte vechi si noi, armonizate excelent, intr-un ambient elegant, dar si prietenos. Personalul este de excepție, plin de amabilitate, surâzator, iar Adriana este o gazda perfecta. Ne-a plăcut mult designul camerelor, lenjeria de calitate, pernele super confortabile, podelele si grinzile recondiționate, privelistea. Micul dejun cu de toate, variate produse locale, iar limonada si cafeaua excelente, disponibile pe tot parcursul zilei. Parcul si gradina sunt pitoresti, amenajate cu variate locuri de relaxare. Ne dorim sa revenim cât mai curand
