Harbour Lights Margate

Harbour Lights is a beautiful apartment on the second floor of a period property directly on the beachfront/harbour. It has plenty of character and space, with all the comforts of home. The hosts were amazing, very helpful and informative. The property was everything I was expecting and more! It offered spectacular views from most windows and is situated in Margate's Old Town which is bustling with art, culture, vintage shops and plenty of great food - all reasonably priced! I will definitely be making the journey again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Movement from the apartment above could be heard but did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay. To access the property, two flights of stairs needed to be climbed (no lift) but this was not an issue even for my 80 year old mother.

Absolutely gorgeous and flooded with light, this flat can’t be beat. Our group - four adults and two kids - had plenty of space and privacy as well as togetherness in the stunning living area. The location is 10/10. We’d love to come back!

Fans in bedrooms would be helpful for the occasional warm night.

Fantastic location, lovely light and airy apartment with big kitchen and sitting room with wonderful view.

Perfect location with beach, Turner gallery and Old Town on your doorstep. We all loved the quirky, arty style of the decor, huge windows and high ceilings giving a wonderful feeling of space and light- the pictures don't do it justice. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend break. Unparalleled view of the sea and harbour. Great communication from hosts. We are a group of 6 friends who go away together every year and this was our favourite accommodation so far.

It was a shame that one of the toilets was out of action but the host communicated this to us before we arrived and it would have been impossible to get it fixed at short notice.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The flat has amazing views across the harbour and sea and we loved watching sunsets from the flat. The flat is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is large and equipped very well. The shower worked well. Communication with the hosts was friendly and straightforward, and the instructions for finding the key and details of the flat were clear.
