Odanın büyüklüğü yeterli düzeydeydi. Konumu Midilli'nin en kalabalık ve en yoğun caddesi Ermou' nun direkt göbeğinde. İstediğiniz tüm yerlere aşırı derece yakın. Her yere yürüyerek gidebilirsiniz. En kalabalık, en alışveriş yapılacak caddenin tam ortasında konaklıyorsunuz.

Ermou caddesindeki tüm dükkanlar ayağınızın altında gitme mesafesinde ancak çok çabuk kapanıyorlar. 14-16 arasında siesta zamanında tüm dükkanlar kapanmak durumundaymış. Sabah saatlerinde de 09-10 dan sonra açıyorlar. Dükkanların hepsini açık bulmak neredeyse imkansız. Siz tatilinizi yapıp bir yerlerden dönerken biraz da caddede alışveriş yapayım derseniz zor. Açık dükkan bulmak zor. Sırf bir gününüzü bu caddeye ayırıp alışveriş yapmalısınız.
