The options were great and there was more than enough to eat.

When I reached the GPS location, it was unclear if I was in the right place. I did not know that the large metal gate would open automatically. A sign would have been very helpful.

Dar Khedija is a lovely Gite Rural set in a citrus grove with lemon, lime and orange trees. The accommodations were very comfortable, and a swimming pool is most inviting! The hosts and staff were excellent and multilingual. The breakfasts and evening dinner were consistently delicious and well presented.

It is located in the rural countryside near Bou Salem, so a private care is recommended. That said, the host was able to arrange all my travel needs as I was traveling without a car.

The location is convenient for Bulla Regia. Modern and very clean room with plenty of space. Comfortable bed and good shower. We had four course dinner at the accomodation which was good although quite expensive.

Need GPS to locate the accommodation which is down a dirt track. There is only a small sign at the road end which has faded on one side. Lacks a few basic amenities such as soap dispenser in the shower and a kettle. No welcome drink on arrival unlike many places we stayed. Overall price/quality ratio a little high compared to other places we stayed.

Dar Khedija is a great place to stay. That's the case for several reasons. In the first place, although Dar Khedija is in an area with limited facilities for visitors, Dar Khedija itself offers comfortable accommodation in attractive, well-equipped rooms (air-conditioning, screening, heating, closet, TV, large bed). Also important for us was the informal, almost rustic style of Dar Khedija which suited perfectly its rural location. We also appreciated the high level of hospitality: although we were there during Ramadan and although the tastes and interests of our group of five vary a lot, Dar Khedija pleased everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and included a wide range of foodstuffs. Dinner was provided each evening at our request, and we could order a wide range of dishes. For us the location of Dar Khedija was important. We were able to visit --without stress -- Dougga, Bulla Regia, the Chemdou museum and El Kef . If our stay had been longer, we would also have visited Tabarka. We reached Dar Khedija without any difficulty, but visitors should be aware that a GPS may be essential.

What an amazing find! Mohamed is a superb host. The guest house is in a really remote area, but he provides everything you need, from a warm welcome and comfortable room, to an amazing dinner which just kept coming! Fresh food straight from the farm, home made bread which you can see being made, and a relaxing, peaceful stay. We will be back!

Nothing! Even when we couldn’t get hot water on the first morning, this was immediately resolved. Great service
