Nautilus Self Catering

It was a quiet area, they had great facilities and plenty of blankets / towels / etc. They had some nice tea, coffee and other little things that was hospitable, but I won't spoil it for you. Very nice flat other than the issues I mentioned. Very thoughtful hosts.

There was no gas, or pan so it's purely braai, microwave or air fryer. The fridge is noisy and woke me up a few times, sometimes the people upstairs were noisy late at night or their dog walked above and you could hear their nails clunk on the floor above. My partner was not strong enough to open up the sliding door, the sliding door wheels need some tlc, as well as the locking mechanism: it needs some q20 or something. The shower tap is weird as there is a fine line between semi cold and burn your back, so you need to adjust it like you are cracking open a safe.

We found the unit well equipped with a good layout and pleasant decor. Very comfortable bed. The gas hotplate was appreciated during loadshedding.

Poor quality internet connection.

The location was good for us, a bit far out of town if you want restaurants etc.

The write up on Booking.com said an apartment but in reality a studio. It also needs more details such including toilet, shower. Towels etc. undersold in my opinion
