Palm Lagoon

The gm and staff were very nice and friendly. We joined the nurse shark and turtle trip，the diver instructor took good care of me all the way.And captain take me to watch dolphin.I'm very enjoyable stay in the guesthouse.

After the excursion ，swimming there is no shower room and washroom downstairs.

We (a couple in our 30s) are really not used to giving a bad review (and don't like doing it) but as we only had a really bad experience here we feel other people should know. In short, from structural construction problems to bad client service, avoid this hotel, there are many and better other options on the island that we saw. We stayed at Palm Lagoon for 3 nights (only because it was prepaid as we would have changed otherwise). I’ll start with the positives: they give beach towels, the water is warm, it's clean, the 2 employees are rather nice. Sadly, the construction itself is really badly though out. As there are small windows above both the door giving onto the corridor and the balcony, your room will be bright nonstop from 6am (sunrise) and also at night as if the room opposite you turns on its lights, the light passes through both windows and it’s like having a light on in your room. There is also little to no insulation, as if construction costs had been cut down (this is not normal in the Maldives, other guesthouses are actually surprisingly very well built) and we heard people talking in the reception area all day and night till late. One of the employees, far from trying to maintain a quiet space, actually enjoys the conversations very much, no matter the disturbance to those already sleeping. The toilets are also not well connected, making the bathroom smell of dirty water evacuation tubes. The attention of the owner, most importantly, is desastrous. From forgetting about our arrival (which he confirmed the day prior), to barely caring about you during your stay (doesn't even bother to get his eyes up his phone when speaking to you), all the way to when we tell him that our stay wasn't so good at the end, not even asking why, it's quite incredible to have someone own a hospitality business and be probably the least hospitable person we've met on the island..

It’s ok for the penny,only same breakfast

This was a great stay for us, but we were only there one night. The wifi was great, the bed was very comfortable, and bottled water was provided for us, as well as tea and coffee in the common room. The host was very nice, and helped us arrange a boat over to the next island. Overall it was a good stay.

Very nice staff, incluyes Transfer from the ferry harbour and very clean.

Our bathroom smelled a little bad and the toilet stoped running from time to time. The breakfast could be better.

It was great. The host was very attentive and I love the hotel (totally new) and very comfortable. We could leave our luggage and take a shower after check out, because our boat left at 14:30.

The staff is very helping. Break fast is excellent. I really recommend families to spend their vacation here. It's also near the beach.

I really linked the place. I don't have negative points.

Room is very clean and new, the hotel staff is really helpful and kind. We liked Palm Lagoon so much and definitely coming back again!
