"Mousehole is a lovely village. Local people very friendly and welcoming. A good supper at the Ship Inn and an early ni"

9.0

Well appointed we had everything we needed. The welcome pack with tea bags and a pint of milk in the fridge was really appreciated. After a 7 hour drive I was desperate for a cuppa.

Water in shower in en suite bathroom was only tepid. Sofa seats were very soft sitting down you sank right into them. Lack of support aggravated arthritic back ache as I was not properly supported. We found logs for the fire but a few to get started would have been a nice touch.

"Comfortable, cosy, clean, charming cottage"

8.0

Cosy, beautiful decorated, well located, views of the sea, lovely log fire with a pack of logs supplied. Cream tea and fresh flowers on arrival. The drive, as mousehole notorious for difficult parking.

Ensuite shower didn’t heat up beyond warm. Which was disappointing. The drive was abit awkward as you had to drive the car out across the road, then get out and close gates which often caused a traffic jam either side! Everyone was always very patient!
