The place is neat and nice. It's a very small hotel..the service and staff are absolutely wonderful!

The room was really big and comfortable and nothing beats a garden terrace for breakfast (which was also one of the best breakfasts we have had during our whole stay in India). Special mention to the staff who was always trying their best to help and make our stay the best possible!

The Hanuwant Niwas is off a back street, which means no street noise and it was a super surprise to access via the large garden this far more imposing hotel than shown in booking.com's photos. My room was wonderfully large with 2 overhead fans, not that they were much needed as the nights were cool mid February. Fresh towels were provided daily & the water in the shower, heated by an individual immersion heater meant hot water was ample. The large garden and veranda were delightful places to sit, with breakfast served outside as dinner can be too.

Managers and staff very keen to give of their best at all times despite their lack of professional training in hospitality. Large bedroom with shared veranda to garden with square lawn and borders. Bathroom basic but served its purpose. Food nicely prepared and tasted good. Staff always on hand to make sure you are being well-looked after. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Excellent laundry at very reasonable prices.

Hotel not that easy to find. You had to ask for the kind of information that most hotels provide in ways easily accessible to guests. Communication in English sometimes difficult.

Nice clean and well maintained rooms. Recently renovated. Breakfast was served in the garden which made it enjoyable. Rooms had an big attached balcony, which made the stay enjoyable.

Without an elevator can be difficult for guests if they are allocated top floor rooms. Other than that a very good hotel
