Nothing to not like

Wow. First time we had stayed here and would love to return sometime. The lodge was clean, lovely and warm when we arrived on a wet windy day. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have the little extras places don’t always think about… tea, coffee, sugar, even some slippers on each bed. The outside space the lodge had was amazing. Perfect for dogs and kids to enjoy. Outside seating and a BBQ for when the weather warms up. John also recommended a place for food and to walk nearby which was a great shout.

The perfect place for a "get away from it all" few days, all you need to take is food, wine and shampoo, everything else is provided. Such a peaceful place to stay. Couldn't fault it, and good communication from the host. It must be even better in the Summer

Very clean, had everything that we needed. A great full kitchen and a very comfy bed.

A shame that the fencing didn’t go round the hedges that would have made it perfect as super safe for the dogs then.

Rowan Lodge was perfect for the occasion - we spent Christmas with family in the village so we didnt spend much time in the Lodge. But the place was clean and warm and everybody was comfortable. The dog enjoyed a good runaround in the huge garden which was safe and completely enclosed

I felt that the Kitchen floor around the cooker could have done with a better clean
