Location and staff

Café was rarely open, very poor lighting in the room, tiny tv in an inconvenient place, very ridiculous and not well communicated 18 year old and up policy. They almost wouldn’t let me stay there with my 15 year old son.

"Useful, clean, spacious, central.."

Super super clean, very central, light, bright, airy (unlike some Oxford accommodation). Spacious. Neat. Not period, modern and somewhat plain, but it’s a sports club! Staff on duty 24/7 very helpful when we got back late. They kept our luggage the next day so we could walk around unencumbered. Basically just a very useful place to stay and again that’s not been my experience of other places in Oxford.

Some glitches: heating was non adjustable and was uncomfortably hot all night, and night staff couldn’t alter it. Key fobs malfunctioned but the staff were on hand to help.

basic student accommodation close to the colleges

staff were disengaged. basic check in by a person with limited English. This is student accommodation, clean and basic. not particularly cheap but conveniently located
