"Nice enough, but a bit noisy, old fashioned & basic. Check ALL the photos, the main 1 is misleading!"

Exceptionaly helpful owner. We were very late arriving and he came out to meet us at 11pm.

The property is rather old-fashioned and lacking in modern facilities (no microwave). Also, the main photo is extremely misleading, as it's of their shed behind the house, NOT the house, which is next to a (fairly quiiet) road and therefore noisy whenever a vehicle goes by, especially because of the old single-glazed windows! The owners live in the other end and other family live upstairs - it's not a nice detached cottage as the photo tends to show. Also, I was not impressed by the owner starting up his van and putting the lights on right outside my window at at 6AM one morning! Other than that, it was a nice place, but it could be much improved by double glazing.
