Casa Dalfea

The apartment is spacious, it is wonderfully decorated and well equiped with all one could need during a stay. The location is perfect as well, in walking distance to the old part of the town, the kasbah, and the coast. The host was at our disposal, quick to reply and ready to accomodate us when it was possible.

It was spacious and traditional, clean and comfortable with a well provisioned kitchen and everything we needed.

Nice Huge apartment. It’s an impressive apartment with 5 meters to the sealing. Host was super friendly and service minded!

Flaminia was a great host. Upon arrival we were met with a nice bottle of wine and a selection of Sicilian sweets which she prepared for us. The apartment is extremely well kept and is absolutely lovely. A beautiful property, typically Sicilian with very high ceilings and a lot of the original features left to compliment the decor. It's been beautifully refurbished to make it comfortable and accommodating. We were a family of 7 and it served us pretty well.

It was extremely hot in Sicily this week. We were constrained to the apartment most of the time because of the excessive heat - it was best to stay inside with ACs switched on during the hours 1300-1900 local. The air conditioning units were on the small size compared to the size of the room, and the kitchen did not have an air-conditioning unit - therefore we were stuck in 2 separate bedrooms most of the time as otherwise it was extremely hot in other parts of the apartment which were not served with an A/C unit. If 2 a/c units were on and we switched on another appliance, the fuse would trip, so it was a bit tedious, but not a massive inconvenience nonetheless. We just had to go and switch it back on every time it happened.
